I was chosen for an alternate last year. 5 day case and then once deliberations started I was told I was no longer needed. Was beyond pissed.

I always liked the judicial system and like watching it work. But I hate how slow and painful the whole process is. 10 min selecting jurors. 20 min break.

iPhone 6.

Updated earlier (on a charger) and went from full battery to dead battery device shut down during OS 11 installation.

Charged it up again.

Just downloaded 11.1 and same thing. Had 87% battery life when I hit install. 3 minutes later phone is finished rebooting and I have 10%. Maybe 5 minutes later I plug into a charger and battery is reading 1%.

 

Systematic degradation. People say not to upgrade new OS if possible. It'll render your old processors and battery tech useless.

 

Was your 6 the batch with the battery recalls? You can check your IMEI to see if yours qualifies.

 

Some people are paranoid and delusional.

11 is an upgrade in speed and stability compared to yesterday, and the prior 3+ years. Battery life has been a problem for months. 11 is great so far, my phone unfortunately still blows.

 

I read that was only 6S phones.

 

Hmm I thought it was both but could just be 6s. Download the Apple genius app and you can test the battery on it.

 

You can replace a battery on an iPhone... it is just a little more involved.

I need to check this out. If my battery gets cold it goes from full charge to zero instantly.
