The “My Back Hurts” Thread

Looks like it. Am proud.

Still working the same dead end jobs but happy to be busy. I have my associates, a one year graphic design certificate, and a letter of recommendation in photoraphy. Now i need a bachelors. But I took this semester off. Never thought I would, but I love and hate that i did it already. Not giving up, just want to pick up a part time gig to start some experience building before I go back this winter/spring.

I’ve been shopping for a new computer and working my ass off to save up for one. Been considering a refurb MBP just to save money. I can’t justify new apple prices. Also not crazy about the whole dongle situation....

Starting to pick up lenses too. Bought an 18-105. Going for a 50 next. Not sure after that what i’ll want.

I was a backup photographer for a wedding a few weeks ago. Found out i don’t want to do that, for sure. Way to stressful.

Many other good things have happened but i’m not counting chickens that haven’t hatched

Thats awesome. I’d need a place where I could continue to do school too though. So pickings are slim.

I’m just tired of dealing with PCs. I’m not a computer guy. I just want something that works when i need it to and doesn’t require me to constantly babysit it.

I fell in love with the 27” 5k macs at the college. 16gb ram. Great graphics. But i need a laptop and i’m not spending $2500 on a fucking laptop, i don’t care how good they are.

It’ll be my first lens below f3.5...because I suck. But i’ll learn a lot from it.

Well it was the weirdest situation ever. Family member was getting married and asked me to just hang around and get candids the whole time. So I did. I used the 18-105 and didn’t have enough aperture because it was an indoor wedding and i only know how to shoot with natural light with my shitty apatures lol

Chp gave me a ticket today.. had my cruise at 63 (55 zone), said get got me at 75 even though he was driving far in front of me.

 

He claims he got me at 75. I l know I was not going that fast + he was going 10 under when I caught up to him

 

I think so it's like 1-10 over is lowest I don't know the rest though. Definitely getting a dash cam in the future though

 

Not to bring up old topics, but Mason... spend the money on a good Mac. You won't regret it. I bought a MacBook Air a few years back and it still runs like brand new, to this day. Use it all the time. Usually bring it on trips so I can offload pics to it and free up camera space. Plus, it fits perfect in the back of the Jeep seats. Best money I ever spent.
