Attached a heater hose to the A/C condensate drain so it drains below the frame, and applied fluid film to the undercarriage!

It's actually not that bad a lift as its been said it was. Poor man's lift for sure, but I've taken my kids and been airborne twice and no problems or new noises. I didnt even check anything afterwards. Just keeps going without issues. For the price, I've been very pleased.... Thanks for asking....

In all honesty, I have jumped this truck mildly enough to get all four hovering above the ground for a couple of seconds. Felt the suspension hit full droop for a couple of seconds til all four hit the ground again.. Softly il might add. Then, only then did I take my kiddos for a small jump after I knew all would fair well....
This suspension isn't so bad. I would have zero gripes if the adjustment knobs didnt suck on these XL9000's...

I can't find a picture of it right now, but I put mine right behind the rearview mirror. I plugged it in and turned it on so I could see right where the lens cleared the dark part of the windshield, and stuck it right there. It's hidden pretty nicely there from the inside and outside.

For power, I ran the wire in the ceiling down to the A pillar, down through that and into the fuse box. I then tapped with an add-a-fuse.

Let me know if you have any questions, and if you want pics I can try to take some tomorrow.

They can be found cheaper on ebay. I just got one a few weeks ago, from another seller. I was going to get this one at 180 (now lower price) but another seller had 1 for 160 so I snagged that one. Worked great, and is spot on. I posted a link a couple of weeks ago or so, but this thread spins so fast it's buried by now.

Interesting... you ran it to the fuse box. How did you wire it then, meaning, did you use the power cord it came with and cut it, and what fuse did you run it to?? Definitely curious about that, so if you don't mind posting some pics and info, that'd be awesome. I already have an add-a-fuse in there, so wondering if I could use that. It's there for my light bar switch.

Gotcha. Mine only came with cigarette lighter cord/plug. I wonder If I can get that one you got, and have it still work.

Thanks a lot for the pics, info, and idea!

That snorkle looks great on there. Great looking truck.

:boink: @EatSleepTacos will you look at how great this snorkel turned out.

Truck looks great with the black steelies. You have really tied in all the mods together nicely

I have had mine sitting in a drawer for 3 months :annoyed:
