I got at least one of those emails a month while I was at UA, and quite a few more during the fall. Was almost always a girl pissed off at a dude and saying he did something he didn’t do. And the campus PD followed up by saying so in an email.

I’m not saying it’s not a serious issue because it really is. But there is a lot of crying wolf.

Exactly, I can promise you, an employer give bout 0 fucks in regards to your gpa. These is positively no way you and another person are exactly equal. One will interview better, one the hiring manager will feel like they will be more cohesive with the group, one will get them their EOE quota. The difference will be how you articulate yourself, how intelligent you sound, and how well you sell yourself. Don't listen to these bitch ass school teachers and counselors. More than anything they are trying to keep you in school for that money.

If you graduate with honors, you put it on your resume. Just like if you were an Eagle Scout 30 years ago, you STILL put in on your resume.

Any thing you can do to get a foot in the door for the interview, minus sexual favors (unless you went to AU), you do it.

That's true. But I dropped a lot of letter grades in college. I did the homeworks, did well on tests, but missed a lot of class because my ass was working. So these professors (as was their policy) would dock me a letter grade for absences. So me NOT putting my GPA on my resume forces anyone who would actually be interested in me to ask. As opposed to them seeing a 2.95 and them going "well that's not a 3.0, toss it."

My point was if you graduated with honors, put it on there. If below Cum Laude, then don't.

I would look at the rest of the resume and interview both.

    I figured. Lol

Luckily for me, I'm a bit more intrested in being scholarly these days, so as long as I can get into a masters program, finishing won't be an issue. And then maybe I can be a little more competitive up front in screening. Lol
