What did you pay for your 1st gen?

2001 Prerunner, SR5, TRD offroad, V6 auto. New tires but to was due for 90k mile service. Timing belt, plus a bunch of preventative maintenance I elected to do, etc.

90k miles, good condition. I paid $8k in 2015. It has given me zero issues I couldn't resolve myself. Currently at 116,5xx and tempted to upgrade but I'm exercising restraint.

VIN says its a DLX (whatever that means)
Automatic transmission

Timing belt changed, LBJs replaced, minor upkeep done to it. Owner intended for it to be a tinker toy and farm truck.
I bought it with 186800 miles and some minor mods done to it. Paint is shit but the interior is great and all the mechanics are fine. has some bumps and scratches.

$6000 private sale bought about a month ago. Rebuilt title.

Edit: Came with rhino lined bed and lower portion of all the door panels and bed. Has 16" 4Runner wheels on new 31" tires. 2" body lift was on it already. Frame is straight, only thing replaced during the wreck was a driver side door and fender.

No real rust besides surface rust, but I'm working on getting rid of that now.

 

1998 xtra cab 3.4 SR5 TRD 4X4 Auto 150k miles 1 owner $2500. Clean title old man owned.

 

$24,500 brand new in 2004. Best vehicle I have ever owned maybe even better than my 2014 Tundra. If not really close to it.

Bought this in may this year 02 trd v6 4x4 125k original owner with maintenance records for 8k. Original cali truck as well, thought it was a good deal. Second pic is how she sits now

 

Excellent deal for one owner low miles..... when I looked some with 2 or 3 owners over 150K miles where around 12,500 , so you were lucky in your deal for a DOUBLE CAB 4wd TRD

 

What lift and tire/wheel combo you running? Love the stance.

Got my 2002 in 2016 for $15,000. One owner, same dealer serviced. Only had 77,000 miles. Clean. Owner was the father of the manager at dealership. Everything I was looking for.
TRD, e-locker, auto, extra cab, low miles. Anything grey or white ( was hoping for a white one, but couldn't find any without 200,00 miles).
