I average 16 MPG with mine, I dont drive fast and I try and keep my RPM's around 2k
I can normally get 290-310 miles a tank before my light comes on

its not only the tire size but you also have to take into account the weight of the wheel and tire. more weight=more rotational mass

people running a certain brand 33 with a certain wheel might have more/less weight than another persons setup

When I went up to 265/70/17 my mpg was cut down by two, I am going up to 285/70/17 and am expecting another 1-2 mpg drop from those, considering they weigh 20 lbs more per tire than stock.

actualy that is not good if your driving mostly highway, thats 4mpg diff from stock. Ive thought about downsizing to 275's to gain a few more mpg's

Yea, I don't think it's good either, but I keep accurate records after every fill up and that's what I get, mix 80% hwy 20% street.

Just trying to give a realistic expectation of what to expect, as I hear some people with 33"s claim no change and some with 35"s claim 1-2 mpg change, which I think is complete BS.
