2wd coils in 4wd truck

hey im just getting my first taco and i want it lowered slightly with 20s its 4x4 i like lifted trucks but i need the mpg's out this truck. so will 2wd coils fit in the front of a 4x4 ? also in the rear end can you tell me is the rear end under neath the leaf springs or on top ?? thanks

 

I don't think the 2wd mini truck springs will fit on a 4x4. IIRC, the leaf springs are on top of the axle.

 

ok thanks what could i do just to lower the front end a couple inches then because i dont think anyone makes a slight lowering spring

 

Not sure if this will work, but I guess you can try and cut off the 1st coil on your stock coils, not sure if anyone has tried that though. FWIW, it's easier to lift a 2wd mini than it is to lower a 4x4. Try asking the guys over at customtaos.com, but be prepared to get a little flaming.

i dotn knwo who makes it or where to buy it. I read over at TN that someone bought a kit..

 

hm i cant find one but i do fint a lowering kit but it dosnt say if its for a 2wd or 4wd if anyone knows where i can buy a 4x4 lowering kit give me a link i NEED 1 !!
