3rd Gen Tacoma Insert on 2nd Gen Tailgate

Has anyone ever thought of putting this on the tailgate of a 2nd Gen? Would love to see pics if anyone has. Really considering doing it. Getting it on straight would be a bitch and a half though.

I dont get it? The best part of the 3rd gen tailgate is the debossed area, which 2nd gen doesnt have.

So in essence you just want to put the word Tacoma on your tailgate? Run a straight line and apply the stickers, but wont look nearly as good as the debossed.

 

So are you going to still have the Tacoma badge on the back, then add another Tacoma decal?

 

I agree, the inset look is way better. Just wondering if anyone else tried and had pics.

 

No I would remove the other badges if I applied something like this.

 

Use the original font for toyota like on the t100. F this 3rd gen lady gaga crap.

 

Lol, I’m debadging mine when it gets painted. Can’t stand branding. Not like Toyota is paying me to advertise their name.
