2wd BS and SoCal meet ups and Tacoma fun

Icon won't warranty that due to improper installation. Their instructions say to make a notch. Big turn off for icons imo

 

I might be able to get them to repair them, but personally still don't want to keep them on if I have to do notching or risk it happening again. So I may get them repaired and sell or if I can't then sell at lower price.

 

They will definitely repair it for you. Just on your dime. I don't think it would cost too much. Worst part is dealing with the down time of not having a shock on you truck. Especially if it's your dd.

Notching the bucket is really not that big of a deal. Just hit it with and angle grinder and paint it up.

Except I also just spent my free spending account cash on down payment for my wife's car.

 

I'd notch it if I knew I was keeping it forever. Weighing the pluses and minuses of having someone give me a hard time for cutting it out if I were to sell later, I decided just to do without resis.

why don't you just get it rebuilt so you don't take such a big hit when you resale them? not too expensive, i sent both my from Icon C/O to DSM to have them done.

Yeah but 2 things, 4 runner rear door and entrance is much higher up and is smaller than the highlander. She isn't very strong and will have to be able to put in and take out the baby carrier.
