I should have specified. I want to use it IRRESPONSIBLY.

I've got a bumper, winch, lights, tires, wheels, auxiliary fuse panel, 2.5" lift and probably some other things I'm forgetting. Those are the biggies.

Do you have a properly sized spare tire/wheel?

 

Been thinking about that. Just not sure if I should buy all at once or just buy what I can for the time being and piece it together.

I don't have a full size spare at the moment. Just don't have anywhere to mount it on the truck that doesn't get in the way if I were to get one.

 

you typically save money buying all 3 at once, but any provide valuable protection.

A spare tire is worth having in the bed of the truck at the expense of space.

A spare sounds like the route I should probably go. Anywhere around Huntsville that sells take offs? My tires are far from new and I'd hate to buy a brand new tire. Also need to find a steelie that has the same width and backspacing as my current wheels.

that I am not sure of. I have a brand new spare that I purchased after my tires had quite a bit of wear on them so it was never worked into the rotation. hoping to go up in size on the next set and sell this spare.

 

That's another tricky issue for me. I have a 255/85/16. Not the most popular tire size. I've been debating changing to a full width 33 when I'm in need of new tires so buying a spare has been on my to-do list but not really a priority because of that.

 

255's will fit in the stock spare tire hanger with a bfh or grinder to knock that tab off just sayin...

 

Time to replace some cracked and discolored lenses.

 

If I can find a cheap 255/85 I’ll have to do that.

Spare can be different offset if you plan to fix and put the other one back in. I have my matched tire spare on a factory rim. I can drive it a short period (off the trail) on the front, but have to move it to the back for any decent time or mileage. It rubs my upper control arm on the front.

 

What did you use to draw them up? I still want to get you to make me one.
