    They are. The 2001-2004 mirrors are all the same size (at least the power mirrors, or the off-road style as corrected by toxictwin). You can buy sail panels from a 4Runner or just keep your old ones to cover the bolts.

    Wiring them up is very very simple. Just a matter of 8 wire - 3 for Signal, and 2 for 12v and ground. I'd be willing to make the harness if you want to wire them to work.

    Not all '01-'04 came with the larger mirrors. My '01 came with the small joystick type. You are looking for the "Off Road Package" style mirrors.

    Let me think about it, I would need a control remote and to be honest once I set the mirrors I have not had to adjust them because they sit inside the housing

    Yes. Direct bolt on. Try to find a set of OEM mirrors. The aftermarket ones are junk.

    I just installed the 2004 Offroad Package mirrors on my kid's 2000 PreRunner. They look great. Manual and not electric. Part numbers and prices from gunny at Camelback:

    87910-35560 $109.14

    Old and new mirrors had threaded posts on them so no need to go to the hardware store and get nuts and washers, and no need to cut the threaded posts because they are too long. Maybe that only applies to trucks earlier than my 2000.

    Only hitch is that the new mirrors do not have a lever that you use to adjust (no biggie to me). Therefore, I have a hole in the triangular cover that no longer serves a purpose. Anyone have a set (grey or lunar mist) they want to part with? Or have part numbers for the covers without holes? Maybe the electric mirror part numbers?

    Mine were electric off a 2004 Tacoma
    I dont need the electric parts.
    Once you set the position it doesn't move.
    If the mirrors get hit the mirrors break away and snap back into their original position
    Just get a 4runner speaker covers

    The pillar pod speakers were 4runner
    Mirrors were 2004 Tacoma

    The mirrors were from a 2004 Tacoma and were electric but I didn’t wire them up

    I’m surprised that no one has mentioned this, but you can get the larger mirrors in a manual version. They were only available on 2000 Tacoma with the TRD off road package. Same housing, same ability to fold them in without losing your adjustment. My last Tacoma was a 2000 TRD and it had these. Just food for thought in case someone doesn’t want to go through wiring up power mirrors in a manual mirror truck
