what's that yellow stuff under my oil filler cap & what the capacity?

    i changed the oil in my 1990 Integra literally over 100 times, and i never saw yellow, oily goo under the filler cap.

    also, what the oil capacity? i can't find it under the hood or in any of the manuals.

    3,000 miles, first oil change.

    and i think that shit is typically from driving short distances in cold weather

    That yellow oily goo is oil mixed with water. Probably from condensation from driving short distances.

    The capacity is 5.5 qt with filter, 5.2 without. :)

    It is most definitely in the manual. ALL capacities are in the manual. If there's no manual, you can see the vehicle specs with 2 clicks on google or better yet, Bing.
