I am pretty sure I should not buy this, and instead ACTUALLY BUY A LIFT AND LIFT MY FUCKING TRUCK.

    not really.
From all the stuff I've read on it 10 000lbs is the best bet for our trucks.
There was a video on overland bound for a 4runner and it was same case.
When you consider the weight of our vehicles with all the armour and usual gear the trucks get pretty heavy compared to stock. For a stock truck 8000 is fine, but for ours 10 would be better.
that rating of 8000lbs is with only one wrap on the drum. Once you have more wraps IE line shorter you lose pulling power. So your 8000lbs winch can be 5000lbs. Besides the price difference from 8000 to 10,000 is usually pretty low, may as well just get the 10,000 and then you don't need to worry. Last thing you want is to need the winch with more power and not have it when you're stuck haha.

YES, the last time your truck was collecting every possible rock lol
Plus best way to have a winch is to wheel with other trucks who can pull you out :)

    Valid point

just bolt it to your roof rack on a pivoting platform so u can winch your self backwards without needing like 3 snatch straps and tree savers

Given its two weeks out + and weather ain't that accurate, but anyways just checked on accuweather

Friday - high of 14 feel like 18 during the day cloudy, 6 feeling like 3 overnight
Saturday - high of 13 sunny feeling like 22, night 5 feeling like 1
Sunday - 14 feeling like 12 chance of showers, 4 overnight feeling like -2

So the friday night will be a bit chilly, saturday will be beautiful and sunday night will be fucking cold.

I usually try to make it easy, breakfast we do cereal. Just use the coffee cups and a spoon. Lunch we are probably going to do sandwiches, fruit, chips/snacks. I usually pre back/ pre make everything if I can. Last time we did deserts and made some other real food dishes. But with the fridge it’s a tad easier. Can really go as easy (MRE’s out of the bag) or elaborate (I glamp sometimes)

lunch can be simple wraps/sandwiches thinking tuna. pretty easy some chips, clif bars, trail mix etc.
Something you can eat on the go since it will be on the trail likely.

Hell might only be dinner for friday night if I'm not staying the saturday night which I don't think I will be, might do a stop at hero burger in perry sound again on the way home, eugene and i did it last time.

Fuck given time could even do that on the way up to save space and not need to bring a big cooler. theres a bunch of stuff off the 400 near barrie could stop and have a bite on the friday up, then on the way home. then cooler can just be lunch and beer :D

yeah I'm thinking wraps and sandwiches. last time I camped buddy had some pizza subs premade and heated them up on the fire so I will be doing that for sure haha I'm not much of a breakfast eater, I think ill keep it simple with just a bunch of different wraps/sandwiches haha premake some dinner like rice n chicken or something, good both cold and warmed up haha

I always found while camping breakfast was key.
you can go most of the day with nothing.

But most important thing for me is my coffee in the morning. without it, I'm not nice lol
