Hey everyone. I'm looking for my first taco. Any tips for best pricing on dealership. Looking for 2014 and newer double cab.
Still trying to figure out the difference between sr,sr5,trd.
I know I want a v6 with two package and prerunner.

Alright so I just bought a truck less than a month ago so I have the process and some tips fresh in my mind.
I would suggest looking at these sites, cars.com, cargurus.com, and allcarslisted.com. You would think all of the sites would have pretty much the same cars but that's not always the case so its good to look at multiple sites. Make sure you do a LOT of research if you want a good deal. After a while of searching you'll figure out the exact specs you want and what you will and won't budge on, like price or color. If you find a really good deal don't want too long because in my experience good deals don't last long, since the vast majority of tacomas are priced where they should be because of the internet. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm not a tacoma expert but after looking at hundreds of tacomas in my search I would consider myself a buying expert haha.

    '14 & '15 are last of 2nd gen with 4.0 motors

    '16 + is 3rd gen with 3.5 motors.

They look quite different inside an out as well, at least to me.

I'd zero in on which generation you want before shopping too hard. Take some decent test rides in nice samples of each generation, regardless of trim and color.

    Then go from there.
