I work night shift, and when I saw these were "signature required" delivery, it sucked! Lol I stayed up and extra 5 hours just waiting. They're inside now, ready for some ko2's!

Like everyone says, these wheels in person make such a difference. The wait was well worth it. This is straight from the tire shop. Still, need to clean that blue off.

I had a hard decision deciding between white out or not. Decided white out was what I wanted. I can always flip them later.

I'm getting those tires next and I'm going with the white letters out. My wife has them on her 4Runner and even she wishes she had turned the white letters out. I think it's kind of a nostalgia thing for me, I have always had vehicles with the white letters out on the tires. Your truck looks great, personally I think the white letters out give our trucks just that extra level of an aggressiveness. Nice job

If you look, most of the lucky ones have less than 100 posts. Some less than 50 and then there are the freaks of the bunch. Go figure.

I will admit, they are great looking wheels. But by the way you guys are buying them, everyone is going to have them soon, and they'll be commonplace, lol.

I wondered about that too before I bought mine.......for all of 3 seconds. I have yet to see another Taco up in my neck of the woods with a set, and I doubt very much I will ever see another one with my exact setup. Maybe out in Cali you might see them more often but not up where I am. Hell, I have yet to see another set on anything in the city where I work either. There are a shit ton load of jeeps up near me too and nothing......I doubt it would bother anyone though. Sometimes a design is just so perfect that nothing else will do or matter. There truly is just something about these wheels that makes them so sublime.

The other thing is cost. To get to the level of desire that these wheels garner most wheels are a lot more money. I have yet to see anything as good that costs what these do. Then there is durability. People do wheel in these and have no issues. Sure, they are prone to scratches but what wheels aren't under the right circumstances.

So you have Reputation, of the wheel and of SCS. Both are at the top of the field as far as I am concerned. You have Low Cost. Really, for what you are getting, they truly are a deal. Design, not so unlike others that you can't find a similar look but it's the subtle and sometime dramatic differences that set these apart. Any manuf can punch a hole in the body of the wheel but how many punch the hole in the body so that it crosses over to the inner portion enough to force an almost teardrop shape? That is so unique. Finally, Durability. Like I said, these are designed for trucks and jeeps and meant to be taken off road. I would never condone this and must say not to do as I do, but I drive mine on the road at 80+ mph and never worry. I feel like these wheels are as safe if not safer than the OEM wheels.

And I get what you are saying and agree but I have to add that if they ever become so commonplace that I start to see them on more Toyotas in my area it won't bother me all and will in reverse make me more proud to have a set. To be part of that club of people that basically, to me, made the better choice.

Yea, I definitely like my SCS Ray 10s, but I Love my SCS Ray 10s in Limited Edition Brushed Copper. And all this is from a 55 year old man that has lived a fruitful and experienced life.

Look, I'm so old I had to look that up. You know you read it. Unless you are staring at your SCS wheels on your truck, you have nothing better to do than read my thread jacked bla bla bla posts.

Oh, and I thought the bold type for the summation bullet points was a nice touch. If I have to say so myself. :hattip:
