I can tell you a little bit. Cover is too tight and my zipper puller cracked after 5 trips only, I will be redoing the cover next summer and making it more spacious.
Right now I can't really fit my bed set into the tent because of the tight cover :(

Other than that, it's an average tent. Mattress could be better compare to the other brands, but it is the lightest RTT that is available on the market.
    Obligatory pictures.

The front runner RTT is decent, I would say build quality is on par with tepui or CVT. Same with NorliskServer it isnt super tall so you cant keep much bedding in it all folded up. I can pack 2 light sleeping bags and a small blanket but even that makes me nervous due to the amount of stress it puts on the cover/zipper. I got it because it was the lightest and lowest profile one I could fins in this price range. Best part is that it is super warm and dark in the mornings easily comfortable in 10 deg with wind blowing. Best thing I added was a few strips of leds which run on a 12v lipoIMG_2769.jpg IMG_2661.jpg

Ok I've been through all 696 pages of this thread (yes i have an IT job) and there is SO MUCH good info here. So thanks TW for being awesome.
I've ordered a Prinsu cabrac for my '05 dblcb, plan on mounting an RTT to it. Haven't decided which one yet, still looking at all the options. Has anyone cab-mounted a hard-shell?

That's kinda what I figured. I live in the northwest and my truck stays parked outside, (likely with tent on most of the time) thought maybe the hard-shell would provide a little more protection from the elements.

I have a soft sided tent and it lives on my truck. I just treat the cover with aerospace 303 every couple weeks, and that should protect it over time. The stuff is like sunscreen for your truck.

Edit: plus if the cover eventually gets destroyed, it should be easy to replace.

Concur. Additionally, I like my truck mostly clean when I'm not wheeling. The truck, the rack, the RTT, the whole shebang, runs the car wash 2 - 3 times a week. None the worse for the wear, and, like @EatSleepTacos said, replacing the cover is easy business...
