    Hey guys,

My Tacoma was lifted about 2.5 - maybe 2.7 inches in the front with 5100's and OME Coils.
No lift in the rear. I know I know, a little bro lean.
Also added 285 KO2's on 16's, Tire PSI about 35-38 depending on temps

Intially I was getting really bad vibrations when going 70 and up on the freeway.
Went to get my tire balancing checked and the shop re-did them, a little better but not great.
Seemed like they were rushing and quality didn't seem the best.

Then I took them to a more trustworthy shop to get all 4 tires re-balanced, and was told all 4 were not done right but was all good to go now.

This time it was alot better as my empty passenger seat stopped shaking for the most part at high speeds but I can still feel slight vibrations over 72 MPH.

Feels like the freeway is slightly bumpy but when I drive the same freeway in my commuting toyota celica, most sections of the freeways seem perfectly smooth.

    Any suggestions?
    Bro lean causing vibes?

Edit: No vibes before lift and tires
Alignment was done at a Toyota Dealer

No vibes before lift, but then again that was on smooth passenger tires.

The Ko2's are all terrain but I don't think they should feel that bumpy

I have heard that some tires need road force balancing.

You my friend may need to replace the needle bearing with a new ECGS bearing. It seems to be hot or miss with our tucks. I didn't need one but others I have spoken to have.

You may need this because you changed the drive line angle

Same here. But mine is around 76-80mph, and more apparent when going downhill or when transitioning from throttle to maintenance throttle at speed. I had the stock tires re-balanced twice at the dealer to no avail. And they can't replicate the issue since it requires them to 'break the rules and drive recklessly.' I also can't video the shake properly, because the frequency of the oscillation is too high for the frame rate--I had more success with placing something that jingles on the passenger back rest. If I go over 80 it smooths out, and if I slow to 70-74, it is also smooth. It seems like a balancing issue, but I don't think they spin the meats up that fast while balancing.

I then purchased TRD Sema wheels and 32" K02s. I had them road force balanced at an indy shop. I still have the same issue, in the same range, with different wheels, tires, and overall rolling diameter.

    This here?
    Is it for 2wd's too?

One description says add these when you lift the rear higher than 1 inch to avoid Vibs

My rear is stock height with 5100's, could I still benefit?

Yeah same here and was told the same thing when I tell them its more noticeable at 80.

Mine seems like it starts at 71 mph and gets more noticeable as i go faster.
I have corrected the speedo so 71 mph is actually 75 mph

A slight vibration is probably just your tires, especially if they're the E rated KO2s. Smooth on-road driving and heavy E rated all terrains don't go hand in hand

    Yes for 2wds too
This one is mine. I am around 4.5 I. The front and 4 in the rear. Had drive line issue before I lifted the rear end to almost level. I have the stock or wrangler with Kevlar. I put the spacer in and it helped, but didn't eliminate.

Try and find a place that does Road Force Balancing, my KO2's on TRD wheels felt like shit,
shook the truck and were never right - Just had them done - smooth like butter now.

This is what I'm thinking, Might try to get them road force balanced when it's time for tire rotation here soon.

Do you have a pic of where these would be installed?
    Fairly simple to do?
