    Hey guys,
This a group buy for the Vantrue N3 touch screen rear view mirror dash cam, which also includes a rear view camera. Here is the link to the product page https://www.amazon.com/Vantrue-N3-S...074M2R81W/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

A little back story. My 2009 Tacoma (long time member here) was rear ended in June while parked at a stoplight and then totaled by the insurance company. Fast forward 2 months and I picked up a 2004 Sequoia. The rear view out the back window leaves a lot to be desired. Also, being a 2004, this was before rear view cameras were available on vehicles. Hence the start of my search for a dashcam that would also be able to incorporate a rear view camera.

After a lot of searching, I found the Vantrue N3. This is a rear view mirror with a front facing dash cam integrated into it that is also capable of accepting a video feed from the included rear view camera (it also records both the front and rear camera). This product met the requirements that I was looking for so I purchased it and have been testing it for about 2 weeks now.

Here are some things that I liked about this dashcam:
    · Stealth – since the front camera is integrated into the rear view mirror, this makes the unit less noticeable by would be thieves.
    · G-sensor – the G-sensor will automatically lock a recording if it senses an impact, thus preventing it from being recorded over
    · Rear view camera – comes with a rear view camera and is incorporated onto the screen as well
    · Both cameras recorded – I like the fact that both front and back cameras are recorded
    · Camera option – besides video, there is also an option to snap pics using the front camera

Here is a video review that I did on it https://www.amazon.com/review/R1KO90JGSERU5G/ref=pe_1098610_137716200_cm_rv_eml_rv0_rv

Everything has been great and it has exceeded all of my expectations. I contacted the seller in hopes of maybe doing a group buy so that others could hopefully enjoy this product as much as I have. They agreed so here it is!

It is currently selling for $129.99 but below are the pricing tiers depending on the number of units:

    10 – 19 units $109.99
    20 – 30 units $99.99
    31+ units $89.99

Group buy will be open through Sunday, Oct 8th. At the end of it, the seller will email me a coupon code, that I will in turn PM to all those that have signed up. Please do not share the code outside of this forum.

All the specs, pics and reviews are on the product page that I have linked above but if you have any other questions please let me know and I will try to answer them.

    Let the signups begin!

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with Vantrue. I really liked this product and wanted to put this group buy together in hopes that others can enjoy it too at a lower price than what the general public can buy it for.

Also, this is my first GB that I am putting together so please have some patience and understanding.

@deeznutz Is this GB goal number for participants or for total number of units? I'd be willing to buy multiple for all my vehicles. Let me know

@RipcurlUSC great question! It is for total number of units. Just put how many units you want.

Let me know if you have any questions on it.

I'll clarify in the original post.

    How is the video quality?
Is it good enough to document our off road adventures and show them off or just good enough to provide evidence in case of an accident?

The front camera is very good quality as it is 1080p so you would be able to show them off.

I uploaded a clip from today so you can see the quality.

@deeznutz thank you for the video.
At this price I would say it's at least very good.

You're welcome! Because it is a wide angle lens, it's a bit distorted at the edges but that is to be expected.

1 more question, how long will the coupon code be good for?
After the RTT group buy truck account is broke for at least 3 weeks.

I'm sure I can talk to the seller to issue another code for you if the current one expires. Just as long as your name is on the initial list it will be ok.

Just do it! You won't be disappointed ;)

On a serious note though, these days a dash cam is a must have in your vehicle. It eliminates the whole he said/she said thing. There are also many scam artists out there where they will fake a collision or injury and claim that your vehicle caused it. Since this dash cam also has a rear camera that records you'll have proof of what the real story is.

So much truth right there. Been mildly dabbling with a few options. Hadn't come across this system yet.

I'm sure it can be done, but are you using a cigarette lighter plug to power? or did you hardwire to a source that is powered with the key turn? @deeznutz
