    One last comment, and then gotta go.

    I remember when I was a kid (60's), seeing tools and such stamped with "made in Japan", and the consensus was it was cheap shit compared to the quality of the US stuff.

    Things change.....

    There are many quality off highway machines made in Canada. Many of them are timber harvesting. Tigercat is a prime example of a great machine made in Canada.
