So i've been lurking this thread for awhile, just want to say thank you to everyone who's contributed.

First dealership that I test drove at hit me with these numbers:

2017 TRD OR DCSB 4x4 Blazing Blue
Tow Package, Mudflaps, Floor Mats & Exhaust Tip.
    MSRP: $36,942
    Price: $33,995

Edit: Automatic Edit #2: Arizona, looking in the PHX area.

I think it's a decent starting point but I know I can do better. Also they have a $400 Doc Fee on here and I read that anything over $99 is a cash grab. So hoping to talk with a few other dealerships today and see if I can get that number closer to $33K.

    Thoughts?

It's the options. If yours has 4x4 and tech and premium and nav and JBL that's a good deal. The trucks without premium and tech are in the 33k range

That was the only model they had and I originally asked for $33000 but they said it was too low, so we gradually went up and my max was $34500 or i would walk away and they gave it to me.

Hey there @New4x4 - I took your advice into consideration and was able to get the truck with the premium & tech package for $1,500 less than their "lowest offer."

You essentially saved me a buttload of $$. I'd like to get you a starbucks gift card or something. Do you have an address/email address that you'd feel comfortable giving me? If not, just know that I really appreciate the information you provided.

I was fortunate to qualify for the recent college grad discount so that knocked off $750. Mine is a SR5 double cab short bed 4x4. so price was 31,100 before rebate kicked in. out the door after taxes, fees, all that junk was around 32,000
