Maybe spacers back there. Or new spring packs

Like said maybe a new leaf pack. Hopefully it doesn't have spacers. Check the front while you're at it.

Look for spacers. Check the lower ball joints, check the frame . There's a buyers guide in the 1st gen. It's a sticky I think.

You can Google daystar spacer lift, if you see that on the truck, lowball it. Your gonna have to pull it out or it rides like a buckboard wagon.

Ill definitely check it all out. The car fax seemed decent and being around 160k miles didnt look too bad. The space in the back looked ridiculous though.
If it turns out to be something funky like that and am able to lowball it a bit. Is it something that can wait to be "fixed" for a couple months you think?

If it's just spacers, sure. It'll just bounce. No biggie. Just go 1 step at a time. Go over the buyers guide on here. If the truck has a good frame and no other issues. And the price is right, and you like it. Go for it.

Then save your money, check with the vendors and the b/s/t forum. And build it how you want. They'll be sales coming up.

Someone likes a raked out truck...

Hard to tell, but it doesn't really look like a block lift in the back, you can see the springs down pretty low, but again, hard to tell and need to see in person. It looks like it's either a lift pack, or a pack designed for heavy loads (maybe both?). If it's a block lift in the back, that's easy to fix, just remove them and get new u-bolts. If those are lift/heavy duty leafs, you might be able to remove a leaf to soften it out, but ideally you' get new springs...

The front is at least close to stock height, so I wouldn't worry too much about that, but you should check it out to be sure.

As others said, check the buyers guide for info, and check the frame etc...

Im not sure why anyone would want their vehicle to look this way haha.

Yep! Lift the front to level it out. Who knows, maybe it's a nice spring pack back there. And the guy used the truck occasionally for hauling. ;)

Looks like wear from a topper on the top of the tail gate, may have had heavier springs to compensate, also has hitch and wiring, so may have also been towing. Springs look to have good arch in them. Wish mine looked like that!!

I don't think it's the leafs...in the 1st pic you can see them and it looks like the stock leaf pack no? Doesn't look like a thicker pack of aftermarket leaf springs or a 3 leaf AAL. I'm guessing spacers.
