    I've actually never been there. I just moved to Colorado in august. The gf wants to hit up boreas pass...which is basically a dirt road with some aspen trees.

    A friend turned me on to a product called "Metal Rescue" that acts like a bath that you place the rusty stuff in and it removes all of the corrosion. Won't eat seals or hoses. He did a very old set of Radflo's with reservoirs that were covered in rust and they looked practically new when they were done. I plan to get some for my Fox coilovers.

    Off topic... Next weekend. Y'all have anything planned? I'll be perusing the beautiful city of STL. Didn't know if you had a ride planned or anything.

    @G.T. Good to know!

    We have a "scenic tour" scheduled that you are welcome to join. No wheeling but the track is allot of fun with some watercrossings and places to dip toes in.

    We are doing that on the 8th correct? Should we meet at the Walmart in Warrenton? Or sooner?

    8th can work for us too, but it can't be early. I can't get 3 girls up (wife and kids) and out the door quickly.

    @G.T. originally suggested the 7th but for a lot of us the 8th works better.

    That's true, but I've seen the work from the St. Louis Springs guys and it's top notch so I'd like to give them my money and possibly even develop my own leaf spring formula. And you are right, I'd read a little about ADS on the forums but had never seen a set until I saw yours and was blown away by the obvious differences and the fact that they are equal, if not less than the black and blue.

    I did suggest Saturday earlier but in fact Sunday does actually work better for most of us. So, to make it official here it is...

    October Lost Creek tour.

    A group of us are planning on taking a leisurely cruise down Lost Creek Road near Warrenton on Sunday the 8th of October.

    The loose plan is to meet at the Warrenton Wal-Mart between 08:00 - 08:30 and roll out to Lost Creek Road as a group. Once we reach Missouri 94 we will turn south to Marthasville and from there turn back NorthWest on Missouri 47. The next turn will be NorthEast onto Charette Creek Road which we will follow up to Reifsnider State Forest which offers a free public firing range, fishing, and a few places to setup and do some grilling and socializing near a nice creek. Leashed pets are welcome, unleashed children as well at your own risk.

    For those that have never been this route, it offers countless opportunities for great photographs of great views.

    NOTE: You do not need to have a built vehicle to travel this route. If you have purchased a 4wd vehicle and it is still stock you should not experience any problems at all and for safety concerns we can arrange our group so that you are in the middle to ensure that you can receive assistance from both front and rear if required. This is a great way to introduce friends and family to four wheeling as there are no technical sections to break parts or terrify the fence sitters and the scenery really is beautiful.

    Please post in this thread if you plan to attend.

    Would like someone who's smarter with a camera than me come out to take some hero shots for a few of us. I'd like to bring the camper trailer and get a few shots of it and the Tacoma on the track.

    When would you like them? I'll be back in town the 5th. Might be able to make the lost creek run if I'm not moving already.

    We will be going out the 8th.

    Opening up the shop today to fiddle around and clean up a bit. Anyone wants to come out I should be there for quite awhile.
