Any recommendations on an extended slide release. I've found a few but don't know if they are good or not.

The agency one looks nice ... I would like one but that would open the mod door, which is bad news for my account lol

How is the RTF 2 different from a gen 4?

No removable back straps for 1

RTF2 originally were just gen3 with gen 4 style texture on the frame, kind of a test so to speak for the texture before gen 4 was rolled out

I don't think any difference in internals between RTF2 and Gen 3

The fish gill serrations were a staple of the original RTF2 but in the pic posted, the 19 looks like a gen 4

Sorry. I guess I should have specified for which gun. Eventually I would like one for each of my Glocks. For now it's for my 43.

I just did a little research and it appears Glock is doing a limited time/quantity release of 3 models of RTF2

The 22 and 17 can have either fish gill or standard serrations and the 19 is standard serrations only

Per Glock, all 5 options are Cali compliant

    Looks like I won't be buying any. I already have a fish gill 17, don't want/need a 22 and the 19 doesn't have fish gills...sooo pass

does it go in the pocket more, or does it just hang out so everyone knows you're (almost)CCW? At that point you might as well open carry a real gun

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
Yes, since it only has one screw attaching the ulticlip to the holster, it pivots pretty easy. You could put the clip at the bottom right of the pocket and roll the gun more into the pocket. This is just how the guy that i built it for said he carried.

Switched the Zev carry connector out and installed the competition connector - holy cow. I'm ready to ring some steel now. The carry connector made for a good trigger but still pretty heavy (as it should). The competition connector lightens it way up.

For a house gun the cheapest I'd go is a Streamlight TLR1 at $120, and there's not much reason to pay more than that either. There are Insight lights that start at about $140 and Surefire lights that go up to about $300.

TLRs on my Glock 20 and Glock 19 for size reference. The 20 is slightly shorter than your 34, but not by much. The TLR would be flush with your 34 slide.
