I saw that cardboard cutout you made... I will DEFINITELY be doing it the same way....

also I'm going to do it with 2 other guys that have snorkels already... so hopefully between that and many beers, I'll get it done right

Maybe you can host a GB at that price. There might be enough interest in this thread alone.

I came across this thread earlier this morning and have been lurking all day. I'd be interested in a group buy :fistbump::devil:

So... Who wants to be ring leader? Is it as simple as calling and asking? If so I'll do it today lmao.

Yeah that looks pretty darn close. For 60 bucks it's totally worth a shot. In all reality, as long as its close, you can probably make it work with some creative chopping.

Let me know if it works and we can push people that direction, otherwise I'll reach out to the China lady and see what the minimum required order is for a decent price.

On another note, here we are cutting shapes in our fenders and raising our intakes but I'm wondering if we should try to come up with a list of additional things to mod to actually make our trucks water resistant? ....

Holes in floorboards and firewalls are pretty common as well as low elevation electrical and diff breathers. I'm sure there is a ton of weatherstripping missing on my truck and I might want to think about a way to quickly, but briefly, seal the fuel breather in case a deep river randomly shows up.

    Just a thought. Cheers

Its hard to tell with pictures, but the only thing that jumps out to me is it appears that the lower horizontal portion looks wider. But again, this is through a computer monitor and I could be seeing things lol

Hey brother. Do you have any engine bay pix? I’d love to see from underneath and in the bay. Thanks. Btw...are you on Toyota Tacoma Enthusiasts FB page?

I recently spoke to emailed back and forth with one of the companies that makes this same snorkel. They were telling me that they will sell the snorkel for $30 each. The issue is that shipping for a single unit was $350. I believe it will be about the same $350 to ship 10-20 snorkels which brings the price in pretty decent. I will reach out again to see about shipping a bulk of them.

In the message you quoted above is the list. Everything below the snorkel you have to buy. I got it all from Amazon.
