Penciled in for 10/21. I'm going to start up a dedicated thread and see what we can get for others to join in.

Tired. Want the day to be over already.:pccoffee:
If someone wants to fluid film my FJ for me that would be great. I have my got around to doing it yet this year and am feeling lazy.

On a brighter note I finally swapped out my gas cap for a new one to get rid of the damn evap code that's been lighting up my dash the past month. It's pretty solid that an evap code sets off traction control, abs, and VSC too.

In RI, if you live there, you're supposed change your registration within xx amount of days. No one ever does though.

So I am going massively stir crazy here and sick of staying at my friends house while my tibia heals back. Has anyone here ever broken their right foot/had a cast or boot/ and still drove themselves with their left foot? I talked to my orthopedist and he said there is no law that says I can't drive with my left foot, but that if I get in any accident my insurance co. will not be pleased. He also went on to say that a few years ago he broke his own right ankle and drove himself everywhere with his left foot. What do you guys think? Would you drive if you were in my situation? I have 4 more weeks with this fucking cast and I don't think I can go that long without driving myself.

Yeah, I think in my case it would be perfectly legal as far as Vermont is concerned, but if I got into an accident in MA they'd question why I had a VT registration and I'd get into trouble over it. They'd probably consider it tax evasion or something similar.

On a vehicle more than a few years old, excise isn't much at all. But on a brand new truck it'd be significant.

VT tends to have higher property taxes than we do though, so I guess it all balances out in the end.

I broke my right foot and drove with my left. I didn't even go as far as to ask the doctor or insurance, it was the only way I could get around. Like you said, no laws stating you can't so even if you get into an accident, there's nothing more the police or insurance will or can do to you just because you were driving with your left foot.

Yup, I broke and dislocated my heel bone a few years back. Drove everywhere with my left foot for a couple of months after I wasn't taking opiates for the pain any more.

Yeah, no drugs here for me. Tylenol and baby aspirin, so that's no issue. I'm gonna start driving next week, I can't take it anymore.

Was it hard to get used to or after a few minutes it was easy?

According to John, the NH inspection process is pretty tough for stuff like poke and even having mud flaps.

So the place I just went to is pretty relaxed about inspections (that's why I go there). I asked him if they were worried at all about the change for the inspections and he said there is not really anything different as far as the inspection process except for the cameras. He said all the stuff for the safety is still the same and other that the cameras it's not really any different.

He didn't even look at my bumper but he did comment on how he didn't think I would get stuck in a snowstorm with the tires I have on my truck... Lol

Just tell him you know about a mystery person on a truck forum named @ChadsPride . That seems to make everybody happy!
