I guess we know the headlights haven't changed for 2018. If only she would have looked at the tail lights. :spy:

Haha right!! we've seen the grille for a couple months now, if she could only get a full body shot! I'm sure someone on here will get all the shots this weekend though!

The headlights may look the same but they could still be led's. I wonder if the taillights are led? Somebody get out there and take some pics.

Looks like they modelled the grill after a chainlink fence.

What the what? I hope this is some sort of a sick joke. We want and expect trucks, not luxury grocery grabbers! Let's leave that for the other trucks... :spy:

Edit: Don't even get me started on that glossy emblem...

Just painting the 16-17 TRD grill black would have been acceptable.

I've been driving a Toyota rental 2017 SR5 4x4 ACLB Super White and noticed the door armrest trim and dashboard ( above glovebox) trim is no longer textured. It's smooth. One of the features my 2017 ( bought Labor Day 2016) didn't have. My 2017 SR5 DBLB MGM with nearly the same entertainment package had the textured trim that is hard on the elbows.

Has this always been available or is it a new addition?

Glossy emblem likely houses sensors/radar for all the safety equipment that's new for 2018.

Gotcha. Although a lot of people will disable and/or remove the safety stuff for mods. :mudding:
They should have left some of it for the Limited trim.

Well the SR5 grill doesn't look to bad,

Not as good as the SR lol, but better than the chromed up ones.

    YMMV.

I will take a wild guess that the Off Road and Sport are probably the best selling Tacoma Models, funny that they have the ugliest Grille on the most popular.

The new Tacoma grill is a copy of the '18 Tundra.

Mine (bought a week ago and manufactured in May) is padded and smooth. Here's a pic from the dealer listing:

Is the trim above the glovebox and on the door armrests smooth too? My center console armrest is smooth on my actual truck. I think this has always been the case.

Sorry. I don't have a good pic of it right now. Here is what was in the listing:

I believe that it is the same as the console.
