my old man used to run a Malibu in the 70's, and under where his left heel rested there was a 2" hole clear down to the road. he had to keep his foot there to stop the draft. i was captivated watching the road through that hole when he moved his foot.

    no good solution tho, sorry.

Well, this is good news! Maybe I should buy those. I had the "all-weather" ones and they sucked. Very mushy rubber.

I may or may not have owned an '86 C-10 with a hole in the floor that was perfect for throwing out empty beer cans. There may or may not have been a funnel with a long hose also running out of the hole for emptying used beer from the truck as well. That truck definitely didn't have the tool box set a little bit further back with a 2x12 screwed to the cab side as a shelf, then had the open space lined with styrofoam blueboard , filled with ice and a 30 rack of beer, then covered with an old welding blanket and some other junk.

That was many moons ago. I've been sober for going on 2 years now. I do have a soft side Coleman cooler that tucks right in between the consoles in the access cab, it's good for water and snacks for the kids on road trips.
