I had a Honda Civic coupe and 2 kids. I don't understand why you need to sell your Tacoma for a 4Runner or a Tundra.

I’m confused how a Tundra is better for a family than a Tacoma. I’ve had plenty of folks in mine, and I’ve even tried making a family back there. I think your wife is being a little cutthroat about your choices.

Cutting out of here is ill advised because OPs story isn't so cut and dry. Will he cut loose the truck? What will he cut a check for next? Will it also cut on the trail? These are important things for TW to learn.

Will he cut a loss on the sale of his Tacoma?

Sounds like he probably gets 15 or 20 more HP, and, more survivable in a rollover:

Pretty cool, but there's nothing like the smell of two-stroke in the morning. For me, it gets no better than alcohol and 927. Cuts through the hangover fog like a bloody mary.

How many HP is a turquoise boulder in the bed good for?

It's 1-for-1 per pound of turquoise. 2-for-1 if you cut the rocks in half but only on cloudy days.

Solid choice. I went Tundra when I had our little ones. Now it’s a rubicon for her and I got the taco. Tundra crewmax (leather, seriously with kids, leather) was amazing.
