    i went to a local shop today to get a quote for some fox coilovers and total chaus uca and they quoted me 2500 for the 3.0 coilovers with resevoir. is it a good deal or is it to much?

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    do you really need a 3.0 CO? most on here are running 2 or 2.5. TC UCA's can be had for fairly cheap (under a grand).

    3.0 is overkill unless you are racing. 2.5's are big enough. You should buy the 4.0

    Yea your not going to fit a 3.0 in the stock coilover bucket. i have the fox 2.5 coilovers and they fit really tight in there and believe me the 2.5 is plenty of shock power.

    Yep just got fox 2.5 extended travel resi last monday. and took them to Ocotillo Wells the next day. freakin amazing what they can do.

    Yea they are, fox is now doing the ext travel also. I got them used for a killer deal or i would have got normal travel, but i am running the stock UCAs im kinda worried about them. I might just buy a set and put it on my credit card a pay it off later.

    finding good deals on used stuff is the way to go. thats how i bought my long travel kit.

    but yeah, i'd get some UCA's quick, esp with you running the truck hard. you gonna blow up your ball joints and that's gonna be ugly and prob dangerous
