Angle grinder to the tabs for the spare. Little rustoleum on the bare metal. Might still hit the tow hitch/leaf shackle on driver side/exhaust hanger on passenger. I cut the tabs, and chopped exhaust at turn down after axle, cut the exhaust hanger off, and my 255 fit great

ugh. are you on pins and needles??? I would have anxiety haha

I got a 255/85/16 from @Lots2Learn58 ..... but a 285? good luck.... from my understanding, it's almost impossible to get a full 285 under there

understandable. well let us know when you find out! celebration Tacoma meet / party might be involved! haha

yea and as you can tell from @TacoCat s post... you still have to do some cutting to fit a 255.... I PREFER a 285.... but my thought is at least it's a 33" tall tire... it'll get me off a trail. ya know?

Yeh man. I really don't get drunk often, I do drink pretty regularly, but not to the point of intoxication, but whenever I get those results, I am going to get hammered, either way. Drunk to celebrate, or drunk to drown the pain.

Turns out they were 885s. The dude legit thought they were 886s, until he pulled them out of the garage. He bought them like 2 years ago, so it's understandable. I may still run them though. It should lift back what I lost from the weight.

I am wanting to go run Bald Mt. soon to give the lift a work out and see how the new tires do. If I have too I will take time off so I can lock down a weekend. Anyone else wanna join?

Your in WV the first weekend of October? Your weekends off do they include Friday? I am kinda tied for the next month or so on saturdays cause of my boys football games. If your off a Friday or Sunday coming up I can schedule off for that Sunday, I am always off on Fridays.
