Morning SC peeps

 

Had to run to the store late last night so grabbed the only whole beans they had so I could try out the French press this morning. Turned out ok but can't taste the difference between this and my drip machine. I blame it on the coffee vs the brew method. I also feel like 4 min isn't long enough...or maybe I need more grounds vs the 2tbs to 12oz ratio.

 

Research is telling me that I should measure 2 tablespoons of whole beans per 8oz of water...

Haha ive never measured. I just put in way too much everytime and let it sit for 5 min or so, then plunge away! If i were to guess, id say i do about 5 or 6 heaping spoonfuls. Usually the filtering disk touches the compressed grounds when ive pushed it down.

 

Where ya installing it at? Its nice and cool up here this morning

Morning, folks!

Woke up this morning to red ants covering the tent. None inside the tent thankfully, but took forever to them all off and get the tent put up. Getting ready to head to the Expo.

 

Wouldnt happen to be in meadow lakes would it?

 

I can’t remember the name of the neighborhood off the top of my head.
Is meadow beside Rawlinson Road Middle School or is it in the opposite direction?

Ah gotcha, thats rawlinson acres i believe. Meadow lakes is on the other side of nhs. Like directly behind it. I was going to creep by real slow if yall were in my neighborhood haha

The entrance I use to get there is the stop light at the elementary school. If you’re on 5 going towards DT Rock Hill, hang a right. Then snake your way through the neighborhood.

 

Ohhh yea, the head on that looks delicious. And yea thats about how my grounds turn out height wise. Thats 2 scoops per 8oz?

 

Yup- 1.5-2 per.

 

imma drive by so slow. Thats the crossing, thats where i grew up. Its basically meadow lakes for us lesser folks. Also, i didnt drive the taco this weekend. Im stealthing it in a wite t4r.
