Small rant

I bought my 17 Tacoma and the dealer includes a clear bra on the hood, bumper, lower panels and free tint

This is done during PDI

I get the truck home and give it it's first bath. Soon after, i notice that the installed trapped a bunch of dirt under the clear bra on the hood, the passenger tint also had a small bubble along with a small dent which they later owned up to. I call the dealer, they said they would take care of it.

It took a few rescheduled appointments to get it in and a promise of a same day turn around.

I get the truck back, there is also dirt and crap trapped under the new clear bra, along with streaks from the cleaning agent used....also, if you look close enough, you can see where the dent was.

I think they should give me a TRD 4x4 AC with a manual for my pain and suffering , thoughts?

Frustrating times at the dealership.

 

Take it back and make them fix the issues.

 

Did you pay extra for these items? If so I'd ask for a refund, then use the money to have a professional detailer install the clear bra.

 

Get them to fix the clear bra and good luck getting them to upgrade your Truck.

 

The installation if clear bra has to be done by a professionals. If it's a tech man good luck. I'm an auto tech and even I wouldn't do it.

 

Yes. I agree you are entitled to a brand new truck for this pain and suffering you endured.

 

If this is covered under warranty, take it to another competent dealer.

 

File a Lemon Law & buy a Honda Ridgeline

 

How would you like to be a teacher and deal with this I-phone gen? they don't care about anything but the phone. Now they have jobs and we will see what happens when you give them a machine to do the thinking and to replace their memory. Think about that, why should a kid have to remember anything when it's in the computer. sorry for the rant

 

Yeah, I'll be taking it back to the dealer, I was joking about the upgrade. Again, this is me ranting about my first world problems.

Doubt they will ever get the bra on correctly. I would ask for a new one and have a pro window tint company install it. Tell the dealer you also want a free accessory to cover the labor cost that you will have to pay for installation. A dealership can’t even put on their own dealer sticker correctly (which I always remove) let alone anything else.
