So I recently purchased a KB Voodoo bed rack and looking for mounting options. Quick fist on Amazon seems alright but are there any better options? Someone on TW that makes them? Looking to mount shovel/axe (together or separate just want to be able to lock them) and a pair of 20170926_184339.jpg 20170926_183207.jpg old NATO style jerry cans. Any help is appreciated.

I came across this last night: http://www.ebay.com/itm/352110062922 might be worth it, I don't think the bolt holes line up with the bed rack and if hate to drill through it

i haven't clicked the link yet. saw that thread and figured it would be pricey but holy fuck didn't think that pricey.

Someone will buy it though. There's a sucker born every day. And I bet it will be someone that goes off road once or twice a year haha.

@Joe23 not sure if it's a "sucker" thing? Or if it's more of a I got this for my chromed shovel an axe to go on my cool bedrack with my cool RTT on top, my four gas rotopax and two H20 rotopax. Along with my MaxTrax, hi lift, NL stainless dual weekender. All of which will never be used oh!!! And my tactical first aid kit with the aspirin in it just incase I get a headache from the wife bitching at me for spending shit loads of $$$$$$$$ on a truck I only use on weekends to go to the country club to watch golf on the big screen in the Pub !!! Lol I know this guy:). And I guarantee he will buy this when I show it to him! I'm sticking with my $40 box of quick fist joy !!!

some people just have too much money to spend. But yep still don't understand the point behind rotopax. overpriced and don't even hold a lot of fuel. Aside from looking cool on the rig seem kinda pointless lol. My scepter jerry cans work fine and hold a shit load more.

Gotta love that the shovel, axe, and hi lift all look brand new because they've never been used right haha.

I personally like my military Jerry's in Red !!! I carry 2 when out for short trips and 4 when going to be out for longer or with a group. Winch, air compressor, gas and trax, always needed for group members who just can't figure it out

hahaha. I carry a single 20L (5gal) usually for short trips, two for longer.
always have my hi lift and treds with me. Haven't needed the treds yet but when I do I've got them.
Still thinking of a winch if I start doing more isolated long range trips and possibly solo trips. Even with a group still comes in handy if you're getting into some messy shit.

Compressor is a must (viair 400p) for airing back up.
At least I use all the shit I carry. Shovel I carry is some cheap $12 one I got a hardware supplier lmao. hasn't failed me yet, besides its mostly for digging a shitting hole. jerry cans were two for $21.99 at costco.

I don't see the point in buying expensive things like shovels, and jerry cans when the money saved can be put to much more useful things like better tires, lift, armour etc.
That high end shit is just for the mall crawler haha.

There's a Jeep in my neighborhood I always see with all this shit. Has the full winch bumper, big mud tires, shovel on the roof rack, hi lift mounted to the spare tire, rotopax on the roof rack.

All this shit yet I've never once seen the thing get dirty, he washes it constantly and does nothing but drive on road. has a big sticker on it of his instagram name, looked it up once was nothing but pictures of him parked in parking lots and drinking with his 'boys'

    what a fuckin twat.

I use my gear also...a lot of it is mostly used for others lol. Pulled a f250 out of a ditch near Weed a couple weekends ago with my Jeep. He must of had $8k worth of polished lift under him :). He said he was going to get a Warn power plant the following week .
I have to admit I bought a NL dual weekender with stainless for the cool factor, my ARB works as well, but it's not as shiny and doesn't have a worthless Popsicle freezer !

originally when I bought a lot of it the girlfriend was like what do you need that for bla bla.

Used to say she could give me old skateboards and they would work as good as the treds. After her seeing how well they work in off roading videos, she stopped bugging me lol.
Not that she sees I use it all, its a little less of a nagging about it.
