Its said and done. Enjoy it! :) but if you really want to know... It is high. If you opted to buy at the end of the lease the truck would be nearly a 50K truck. That monthly payment is more like a purchase payment. It is high. Good luck :)

You can also try to get refinanced after a amount of time. Use a private bank or credit union. Your parents in the military or any family? USAA is pretty good APR.

He’s leasing for that price, not financing.

Neel, I’m not sure what your options are, but I think your dealer took you for a ride...

You could go back and try talking to them, but I’m not sure if that would do much since you’ve already signed. You might want to look into what your options are with terminating the lease and starting over. It will probably be expensive, but maybe not 8-10k expensive. That’s a lot of money, man.

If you’re going to do something, you should probably act quickly (today) as it’s been a few days already... I’m not trying to make you feel bad about it; if nothing else, you’ll know better for next time. Sorry man, good luck!

As I'm not a leaser, I have no input, other than it 'sounds' high to me.

But the value in asking these types of questions is before the deal is done.

Unfortunately I know several folks who have made poor credit related choices in their lives, and as you understand, it does affect things, especially big ticket items.

But the common trait I've seen in all of them is asking advice after they are done instead of before signing up. Purchase, lease, doesn't matter. Research is before, not after.

Hope it all works out for you, and you do all the right things to improve your scoring.

I did a lease to buy also. I played the dealer game with them for 2 hours. Toyota financial was only option at the time. I may try and refinance with USAA. Truth be told I'm prob going to lemon law it. So I don't care. Toyota has the worst customer service. My differential whines at 50-55 mph. I took it to a independent driveline shop and they confirmed it's not normal.

    So Toyota can suck it...

Wow, Yes I understand that option wasnt a good one now. is there anyway i can purchase early? I will call the dealership tomorrow. I dont mind the payment being $50 higher at all but just dont want to end up paying 50k for a truck.

Try to see if you can get a loan through a private bank. Compare interest rates.

Anything is possible. When i was in the finance office, the finance guy was literally just moving numbers around for my monthly payment. All he had to do was work a set of parameters and he made my payment go up and down at his discretion. This is through Toyota financial.

Looks like you were written around a tier 4 rate. Lease factors arent great right now. Looks like you got a fair deal and you will love the Katzkin leather. Just got mine last week. I check the exact details tomorrow when I get to the shop.

    Welcome!

I'm new here too and have had similar questions but I kept my mouth shut. I've never leased and have rarely bought from dealers, but I did this time. As many others have said, the deal is done so enjoy it! Even though I love my Taco, I've second guessed myself a few times. I think it's par for the course when you buy anything over a personally-defined "expensive" limit (some it's $100, some it's $100,000). All that said, just be careful what you do to it since, from what I understand about leases, you can end up paying extra if you return your lease in non-stock condition.

As previously mentioned, I've never had a lease. Others, please correct me if I'm wrong about that last part!
