Went into Harbor Freight for the first time to get some tools to do my Kings install myself the other day. Bought a pair of 6 ton jack stands, torque wrench, breaker bar, socket set, halogen shop light and a few other small things for under $140. Can't beat that. I was always afraid to go to HF because of the bad rap they get on here in some threads, but goddamn you really can't argue with those prices. I was a little worried about the jack stands at first but they worked great.

I bought the Hercules impact last week to redo my front porch rails, I am very glad I went with this one. Good price (on sale) and works great. Batteries are not too expensive and the hercules brand has great reviews so far. Good pick up in my book.

Their hand tools are great, the wrenches can leave something to be desired sometimes. And thier power tools are great for light use, but generally don't last long if you beat on them.

Tell her you're just borrowing it and you'll get the $ back within 12 months.
I'm clearing my garage and deciding where to place the 220V outlet. For sure I'll do one inside the garage and a second one outside.

I'll definitely get the MigMax by the end of the year. If I'm done with all my projects and have no others in mind, I'll return it. All consumables are just that.

Why have just have 1? I got 3 plugs on one circuit. Plasma cutter, compressor and welder. I've never tripped the 30 amp breaker.

30 amp breaker with 10 gauge wire will run every thing you will need for home use. Most people go over sized on the wire. Its better to have the breaker trip like its supposed to.

Are the black gloves better than the thinner blue ones? Worth the increased price?

I don't buy gloves from them.

I've got the 3 ton floor jack. It's been awesome for the past few years.

The only grease gun I bought from HF ended up being a piece of shit. I'm sure they've gotten better

Does Harbor Freight just swap out these Vulcan Welders when they fail or the owners do something stupid .

Like any new products there will be bugs to work out
