I've been out there once. Don't like the lines regardless of the beer.

 

I haven't had a beer yet that is worth spending more time in line than drinking it.

 

Girlfriend isn't home so I decided to cook. Can't have her thinking I like cooking. Took some salmon and slapped on some Cajun seasoning and then sprinkled some brown sugar. A stuffed quahog and some salad with Parmesan peppercorn. Thinking of doing pork or lobster rangoons tomorrow... Just need to eat the evidence quick enough.

 

Dude .... we want to know what brew compliments it ?

 

Harpoon IPA and some Nikka coffee grain whiskey for desert. It's what I had seems fitting

 

Yeah, I am not into lines either. I would rather find a lesser known beer with shorter lines, myself.

I think the ma inspection thing is blown way out of proportion we will see what happens but I think it’s more just an attempt at keeping shops honest

 

This is what RI did. So far, only downside I've experienced is the camera was down, so I had to keep pushing my inspection appointment back.

 

Yup, and the valuation is generally very low compared to what the vehicle is actually worth. They take each year after the manufactured year as a percent of the original MSRP. My truck is at the 10% level since it's over 5 years old now, so my valuation is $3200, I believe, because the original MSRP was 32,000. Almost comical since the real value value would be around 5 times that.

Worst case scenario for me would be new Tundra, MSRP $44k, 90% of MSRP in first year $39,600. Excise = $990. But that's only a year, then it drops to 60% and goes down every year after that.

I notice cities and towns are really good at knowing when you got a vehicle, but they mysteriously never seem to find out when you no longer have it. Then you have to pay it and file an abatement with proof you sold it or traded it. Sometimes I haven't bothered because it was a fairly small amount. That's probably what they count on.

NH or NY couldn’t enforce their laws anyway, so it’s all good. I just don’t want to run into problems IF/when I drive to MA with the FJ.

Yep I’ve done that the last few years.

No way in hell am I paying their insane state taxes. I’d rather register it with Florida tags, which gets me no inspection and no front plate required.

I mainly just don’t want to take my tints off.. lol
