I cut 2.75" off of the fenders, 2.5 off of the flares, hammered the pinch weld and firewall back and did a cab mount chop. The fenders and flares were cut with a jigsaw and the cab mount with an angle grinder.

Switched out my KC daylighters for a 20" rigid bar. We have to run a front plate in MO so for now it's on top of my Avid bar.
But I might relocate the plate and run it underneath.

Right! Mine is an accountant! “What was this charge for?” “What did you buy for your truck now?” I found a secret though, I just charge everything to my PayPal credit line and she never knows what I buy!!!! :bananadance:

I really admire you guys that know how to work on your trucks, the extent of my mechanical abilities is installing the chrome tip on my exhaust all by my self :D

    Thanks for the mention @ChadsPride.

I am here to help if you want. Links below to the sale thread with lots of pictures of the bracket installed. It may be necessary to modify the existing bracket design to get your front plate low enough for the entire plate to show. I can't tell for sure without a low angle front pic if a stock bracket will fit. Give me a shout if I can help.
