    Today I had an interview at the local Ford dealership for a parts driver, and two hours later they called me and I got it!!!! :yay: I start Monday

    This is SUCH a relief. I've been hurting for so long since losing my job doing sales at another Ford dealer. :eek: Unemployment pay only goes so far.

    I did also interview to be a police dispatcher, but I know from past experience that it will take at least 3 months or more before they decide if they want me or not. At least now I have some way to make money. :D

    On your dispatcher app, yeah govt jobs don't move too fast....all those committees and red tape. Spending 25 yrs in the army then applying for fed jobs has taught me that. :rolleyes:
