Dam on my drive into work this morning I think I heard some "ringing" coming from myrear end. When I take my foot off throttle it would go away and come back when press on the throttle again. I hope I'm hearing things  last to winter girl.

It's ironic, all this talk of 40+ hour weeks and live to work/work to live. I did an EE at CU, worked in aerospace in Denver, 60, 70 hour weeks not unusual. Stress. Only lasted about a decade in that life, not for me. Moved to Loveland, in FRCC for welding certificates. Money might not be as good but I wouldn't be dead of an aneurysm at 50 (which is really close now, yikes) either. Maybe lung disease or crushed under a forklift, but I hopefully won't keel over sitting in some environmentally controlled cubical under fluorescent lights.

    Stuff. Also things.
In my experience working in aerospace, the management likes to couch working those kind of hours as, "being flexible with your schedule", and it's a very big determinant come review time.

Strangely enough, when you bid new work based on a 'lean' workforce working those kinds of hours, it becomes the norm rather than the exception. Unfortunately, so does divorce and other sad outcomes.

Where I worked there was a relatively high rate of divorce. It wasn't a big place, at least when I worked there, about 200 people. But was and still is a family owned, private company. The mentality that prevailed was still that of a small start up breaking into an industry, which means the unwritten rule was you worked all the time. I guess the culture at the place is changed a little now that they've brought in lots of people over the year with experience at the big primes. It was in the space and HiRel world. Satellites don't have Thanksgiving or Christmas, so neither did we if there was an on-orbit anomaly or flight delivery pending.

ETA: We didn't have core hours at the time, so we'd follow an 80 hour week with showing up at noon for a couple of days but the total sum of billable hours was always well in excess of 40, which means you're actually putting your butt in a chair more like 10 or 11 hours a day to get 8 chargeable.

Better to ask what I have not done.
He is. He has a facebook page for it. 600 patches for 100$ a piece each patch is numbered and he will do a random drawing for the winner.

Is it truck and trailer? Forgot about that and doubt the subie or Porsche will pull it to places it's capable.

And I bet he'll have no issue selling out of tickets in no time. He's got quite a following. And if it's for both... I'd probably throw down for a ticket or two.
