Does anyone have Iggy's lights mounted in the Southern Style Slimline bumper for the 3rd gens? If so, which cut do you get for the opening?

I'm still on the fence because the cfo has been on my ass about buying truck parts lately...BUT, any recommendation on pods for bed rail side mounted area/camp lighting? Will prob go with diffused for reversed lights, sooo flood?

@Iggy, can you help out with a recommendation?

I need additional lights for driving on mountain roads at night, nothing too crazy but enough to be able to spot deer from far away. I plan to wire the LEDs' switches to my high beams so that I can quickly go back to the low beams to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. I have a light bar mounted on the front bumper (tabs are ~20" apart) and was planning to put the lights there, which means that they will be somewhat low to the ground.

Would you recommend a 20" combo bar for this use, or a pair of 40w spots in the center with 20w floods on the outside, or something else?

Also, did you have any luck finding security bolts for these lights? If not I can get some tamper resistant nuts from McMcaster.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to buying some lights.

that's a good question. For the best output in the grill area I would go with the 9" round with a combo pattern. Next would be a double row combo, followed by 4 pods (driving, 40w spot, 40w spot, driving).

Would the diffused lights work well as "camp lights"?

Yes, diffused and scene are my two favorite for camp lights.

I was referring to this post. Just curious to see what they look like, pricing, etc.

as long as you pay before it closes (date in OP), you would be good.
