Did the Subaru tweeter upgrade thing today. Immediately relieved my annoyance with the lack of highs and vocals on certain songs. Kind of thinking I want to do the doors now as well. It's been a really, really, long time since I've felt the desire to mess with speakers in a vehicle... in the jeep before, I don't think I ever really cared. Because it was either competing with all the other strange sounds that the jeep made, or getting just loud enough without distorting to drown them out, lol.

So I added the bumper and winch, then a few months later I corrected the droop by adding fox suspension all the way around. IMG_2511.jpgIMG_2507.jpg

Drove it up to Pomona for the Off-Road expo. Way to much stuff for jeeps, but did see some nice 3rd gens in the parking lots, and a couple on display. Had a nice chat with two Magnuson guys who say there will be a supercharger out for the 3.5 by late spring of next year.

Just completed the rear differential breather mod and run it up to the tail light. Easy enough. Simple bonding time with the father-in-law. Thank you TacomaWorld for being such a resource.

Which method? Paint? How many coats/type? Seriously considering. Don't know if I want to paint or plasti-dip. Just painted badges the other day and am impressed.

I actually got the idea from another member on here, I got all the stuff on Amazon. I removed one of the coat hanger hooks and mounted the mount under the headliner to the metal through the hole where the hook was.

It’s very sturdy, doesn’t move at all when I go over bumps.

I guess you just pop the suction cup mount off and press it into the ball on the other mount?
