To me it doesn’t matter that those grilles started off on the Pro model, if you like the looks change your grille out! Personally I don’t like how it sticks out but overall I like the look. For now I just painted my cheese grater black and until something I like better comes along that’s what I’ll run. Perhaps in a year or two another grille will come out that floats my boat and I’ll buy it. I won’t give a damn if it’s from a Pro, SR or aftermarket! It’s my truck and I’ll do whatever I want and if someone doesn’t like it fine, but if you tell me you don’t like it my answer will be I don’t care what you say it ain’t your truck!

    :rofl::rofl:

    So true.

I do like it a lot. I was considering getting it for a while, still slightly considering it. My problem is if I do go with getting the ARB bumper its going to be cut and covered for the most part so whats the point anymore.

If I do get it, it would be the faux one. no way I'm paying dealer price.

I bet they would sell me the Pro suspension for 3 grand. Not that I would.

    Also, try eBay.

Other than the no longer available S/C, which is not high tech, what are the race bred bits available?

I don't really get this argument that I keep hearing from everyone buying the knockoff.

The price difference is about $130. then you have to modify the letters, either paint them, or buy the insert decals, and mount them.
By the time you consider all that, it's a wash.
    But to each their own

Slapping on M badges is a definitely posing but I can't say its anywhere like getting a Pro Grill. Its just a black grill, doesn't spell "look I got a Pro" like a badge would. I would think its posing if you got a TRD Pro badge though. Besides, the diff between a std BMW and the M is quite the jump, slapping the M badge is like lying you got a different motor and/or drivetrain.

No I don't have a Pro grill but I do hate the chrome and can see why others are looking to it as an alternative while staying OEM.

I haven't looked at the price. Thats all it is? Ok fuck that lol.
As much as i like how they look nope. Rather spend that type of money on something that would actually help off road/camping
I agree the chrome is ugly, thats why I plan to just paint it.

I laugh when I see a M badge on a non M and you just look at the brakes and can tell its not a real M

I remember when I was talking to a girl that was so afraid of being seen without makeup.
Well once I saw her without it i understood why.

Not seeing relevance to my question you ignored........

Whatever. If you think TRD badged stuff is awesome, Toyota will be glad to help you decorate.

    Enjoy!

By law, the manufacturers half to offer parts no less then 7yrs after model is discontinued. Through a certified dealership. With that being said, availability of said part is another story.

If someone is willing to buy the stock, then I'd sell it to help w the cost of the new one. No point keeping the old one.
