Step bars

Anyone have any opinions on either the Steelcraft XTX 400:

I like look of both and the aluminum construction for corrosion resistance. I'm not looking for sliders, just something to help the shorter people in my life climb up into the cab. Particularly wondering why the Aries is more expensive, and if it's worth it.

I am in the market for some new side bars and have been doing a lot of research (more than I should). I have not seen too many posts about those specific SteelCraft bars, but I was considering either of these models. Just thought I would share to give you some more options.

The N-fabs are great -- not as much step in area, but as I have discovered -- when you have a precise spot to put your foot one tends to be more careful as to where/and how you place "it". They are a slip resistant raise metal surface as well. I almost busted my but slipping with snow under my feet with the kind with the hard plastic black surfaces under foot!

 

I like the N-Fabs too. I had some on my '12 Sport.

 

I have the Shark running boards that came off 3rd gen. Work on 2nd gen too. Double cab only.

I ended up choosing the AdvantEDGE for the look and the aluminum (my last set of tube steps rusted out). Just waiting on a sale now.
