    Thanks
Yes it's the 3-1 leveling kit, I had to put something on it when I contaplate what setup I want to run when it's all said and done. Actually really happy with the ride still rides smooth and not much power loss.

I was up North last week of June and Capitol Toyota in San Jose told me they wanted to be real competitive with their Tacoma's so they are doing $1K under invoice. The MSRP of what I got was $28,563 and invoice was a little over $27K (I checked with other dealers) and the price Capitol was giving was $26,327. At the time there were no rebates or special financing. I'm sure a lot more dealers are competitive with the 2017's as 2018's will probably start to come in.

Anyway, the auto transmission is up shift happy. I find it's best to keep the tranny on "S" mode in the city and use the ECT button on grades. Normal "D" mode on the highways.

Joined the club yesterday. Brought home a 2017 SR 4x4 with an automatic trans. Had a 200 mile drive home with some steep grades and it had more than enough power for me.

For those of you who have added keyless entry, can you point me in the direction of a simple keyless entry system with no frills. The smaller the fob the better

Congrats. Where did you get the truck from? Just get an alarm, that will be your keyless entry.

That's where I got mine as well. You must have purchased the MGM color?

First thing to go on mine was those steel wheels and 245's.

I got the MGM, they had the lighter silver but it didn't do it for me. Im really hoping to pickup the TRD wheels but a shell and keyless entry are on the top of my list.

You can get a basic Viper alarm installed for about $200. That will serve as a keyless entry as we already have door lock actuators but also have starter disable, siren, and flashing lights when the doors are opened. The tilt and breakage sensors will be extra but not needed.

I see the TRD wheels and tires go for about $800. Used shell in the same color can be hard to come by.

Any SR members on here in the San Antonio area looking to swap their grille for a TRD Pro grill + cash?

I should've asked to swap to those SR wheels when I bought my truck.

I bought the Southeast Toyota kit from the following link:
    https://www.toyotamcdonoughparts.co...east-toyota-keyless-entry-system-00016-32901/

Pretty easy install, full instructions included (you can look at them online at the above link to know what you're getting into). It does use wire taps which I wasn't thrilled about but it has been great so far!

Mine come with steelies and I try to find cheapest solution to upgrade to to alloy. Has some 2nd gen wheel around my area with very good price. I found that the gen 3 sr5 wheel could work for me too.

You can find gen-2 OR wheels for really cheap. I've seen sets of 4 in decent shape go for as little as a $100
