I like the looks of the grill and NOT trying to pose. I think putting PRO badges is posing (although not possible) but not using a grill that looks good and doesn't say PRO.

I bought my pro grill off Amazon. Fast shipping and cheaper than most places.

It'll be interesting to see how they incorporate the new Radar thingy into the 2018 pro grille. I wonder if it will look different?

I have the Pro grill on my white OR not because I'm posing but I think all Toyota trucks should have the name across the grill as inspired by the FJ. You should keep the cheez grater and put it back on when you trade in, then you can sell the pro grill

It shows there are a little over 2800 Pro grilles in Toyota warehouses and no special release ordering codes. I doubt there will be an issue getting them.

There is a boxed section in the current Pro Grille, l believe it is for the Safety Sense stuff, seems like they planned ahead.

I think to get 'pro' badges or a grille, you should have to prove you are a 'professional' Tacoma driver.

Let's face it, the whole idea of 'pro', or 'TRD' for that matter, is completely rediculous. I'd say if you like the look of the PRO accessories, snap them up guilt-free. Even the guys who bought the real 'pro' are essentially posers, unless they are truly getting paid to drive their Taco in the Baja 1000.

This is for the Tundra model not for the Tacoma.

    Haha. Posers eh?

I'm don't think anyone is trying to claim their sr5, OR or sport is a pro. I'm guessing they like the Toyota font and wanted to ditch a chrome or Swiss cheese grill.

Hopefully they stay for sale. I imagine they will. Wish they made a few more as well. Maybe some in the smaller classic FJ font.

That would make much more sense because I think they cancelled the Pro Tundra

Yeah they are skipping it for 2018 and they are supposed to bring it back in 19' or 20'.

That is correct. No TRD PRO Tundra for 2018. Most likely to return when redesigned Tundra comes out in 19-20.

I thought that phased it out altogether and are replacing it with some Sport Model.

I could be wrong but I don't believe so. The parts bulletin we got said the "TRD Pro" parts were not going to fit the 2018 but would be back for the 2019 model year.
