My first car was a 68 Fury III 4-door. That 67 Sport Fury is bad ass.

 

I love the shifter in there, my buddy had a Super Bee 440+6 many years ago that had a pistol grip shifter in it, what a beast that car was!

Spotted this guy in traffic yesterday. '66 427

 

American muscle from the 50''s - 60''s and a few early 70's. The Shelby''s were probably my most lusted after.

 

My uncle had a 1967 427 convertible, blue on blue with a 4-speed and factory power windows. It had a different engine in it when he bought it and it had also been painted this pastel yellow color for some reason. On top of that, it was involved in a major accident with frame damage at some point prior to my uncle buying it, and very poorly repaired. My uncle put a correct engine in it (even though it wasn't numbers matching), and painted it the original blue color. The car was kept completely stock and original except for one thing; my uncle replaced the factory speakers with new Kenwood speakers (my uncle kept the factory AM/FM radio).

My uncle bought the car in 1994, restored it himself within a year, and sold it in about 1999.

Aren't they both? One on the top looks like the '18 Phantom, one on the bottom looks like an early 90's Silver Spirit...

I mean, I know that the new ones use a BMW-sourced motor, but the other parts are mostly proprietary, I think.

 

Bottom one is a 1991 Silver Spur. I personally think the 2018 Phantoms don't look that good. A new Phantom costs about $400K, but it has BMW mechanicals and the interior has a lot of cheap touches.
