There's a shithole of a road off 280 between Smiths and Opelika I explored a few years ago. Bet it hasn't been maintained in 15-20 years. Deep ruts etc. about all I've found in the area.

 

I haven't talked GA up for beating state. I was just saying auburn fans win a a game or two and think they are just awesome. They are doing pretty good this year, but still lack the ability to win big games. 9-3 will be a good season for them though

 

Did this yesterday, pulled the carpet out of my bedroom to expose the hardwood floors. I'll never understand the generation that decided to put carpet over everything...

 

I feel like the only reason someone would do this is because the hardwood ware near the end of its finish life and needed some serious maintenance and carpet was cheaper/easier than refinishing the floors, but from here those hardwood floors look pretty good so who knows? Maybe they were tired of dusting and just enjoyed the ignorance/false sense of cleanliness that carpet provides

 

I was told buy the seller that there had always been carpet down, so I'm assuming some asinine person put the hardwoods in and immediately covered them. They look great, aside from the staple and nail holes...

 

Is it going towards Salem? Or on the other side of 280 headed towards Goat's Rock dam?

 

Last house I lived in had unfinished hardwood under the carpet. WTF?

On the river side of 280. Go down a road and it turns left, keep going and it gets unkept around the road. Keep going and it turns to shit, muddy with deep ruts. There's a small lake beside the road. It's on gps as a county road.
