I installed 2 Yakima loadwarrior basket on the cab and cap. The cap basket has an extension piece, 18". I sprayed the baskets with POR15 Topcoat, great product!!

I took down 3 bike holders from the cab and sprayed them as well. I was getting tired of almost falling trying to put the bikes up there, it was tough.

I had the same code when I cleaned my K&N with the K&N cleaning products. I put an old filter in and ran it for awhile and the light shut off. I used the K&N anyways after that for about a week with the code on, and after awhile it shut off. Didn't effect performance at all, must be something in the cleaning products that I didn't let dry or evaporate fully.

lol I got the idea from his truck. I think I'm going to get some small allen head bolts or invest in a cheap riveter from HF.

timing is dead on now, I reconnected everything partially to where I could get the alternator belt on and the coolant wouldn't fly all over the place. No sound of chatter from the same head, awesome!!

Next tackled the igniter plug. Parts arrived on Saturday, delivery was ahead by 2 days which was awesome because it was suppose to be delivered today. 1 problem, I've never replaced a plug from a toyota before. Well I ended up going to the junkyard anyways to find me a similar plug. Cut extra length of wires, bought me the eyeglass repair driver, got some good practice in and was ready to go. I ended up cracking the original plug, too damn brittle. But all is good now. Waiting for new radiator to come in and the 3 gallons of coolant as well and we're on fire.

The front cab basket is installed on the Yakima Q Tower system with round bars. No drilling required. Easy to remove and reinstall.

Yes! One of many items on my "to buy" list. I would like to build some to save some $ though.

Needed a new air filter and my idle speed is high, so I took out the air box and cleaned it up. Cleaned the throttle body and the MAF sensor. Added a new battery since my old one had a cell low. Idle speed is still shit (1500), didn't have the time or the right tools to get the throttle body off and clean the IAC. I'll do some driving later this week to see if anything changes, but I might have to buy some new vacuum hoses since I think if I try to pry my current off I'll damage them.

Yeah, I know the engine bay is dirty as fuck. I'm ordering some detailing equipment off Amazon so I can get in there and clean it up nicely.

Didn't get before pics of the throttle body and flapper, but it was black around the edges and around the center pin of the flapper. Might not be perfect but it's a significant improvement.

Yes, you just gotta buy the right clips for your truck. You can find the Q towers and bars on CL. I pieced it all together from CL. More than half off original retail, if you don't mind CL hunting.

I really don't know...seriously. I just redid everything to make sure. I was looking at the belt for over an hr to make sure

    "Is that right?"
"Do the marks following the cams and crank sprocket?"
"Am I out of beer already?"

Crazy weekend, was glad fedex delivered the parts on Saturday too.
