Hey guys, in late October/early November I'll be taking a trip down your way. I was wondering if there are any good wheeling trails in the Escalante area? I'll be coming from the North and from Escalante I'll be headed east towards Moab. Thanks in advance!

    Not much stock left.
Hey guys, just found the Utah forum. I've been trolling Tacomaworld for a while now and just came across the dedicated Utah forum by accident.

Are any of you guys rocking the Fab Fours Vengeance front bumper? I would love to see one of these in person.

    Cheers!

Rock hunting North of salt flats. We went pretty far before the roads became too washed out for the rental. Really missing my Taco.
Beautiful area with lots of interesting things to do. Heading for SLC on Sunday

Salt Flats still wet, so no speed championships. There is about 2-3 inches of water over the salt so technically you could drive all the way to mountains on it. Then the salt would eat your vehicle. This shot was taken just after sunrise this morning. Heading to SLC tomorrow.

Anyone interested in a set of Spitertrax 1 & 1/4" Wheel Spacers? Have had them on my truck less than 1000 miles. Asking 150, located in the Ogden Treamonton area.

I tried to make it up to Forest Lake yesterday but the trail after crossing the stream was a muddy mess and it started snowing pretty good. So instead of tearing the trail up I headed back down.

It was beautiful up there though. Gonna try to make it again next weekend if it dries out!

I did Forest Lake trail on Friday and the trail is an absolute disaster up by the lake. I should have turned around. Its becoming so rutted out from being a muddy mess and there are huge puddles on the trail. I doubt it will dry out this year. We rescued another Tacoma on the way back down that was so stuck in the mud and tried to talk another group out of going up with no luck. I wish they could shut down trails at that point. It'll be impassable to vehicles like ours in no time from all the damage of high RPM's and spinning tires in those sections.

So I am going down to Bryce canyon this weekend. On Saturday AM, I am biking the Thunder Mountain trail with a friend.

After that, I need some suggestions. He is bringing his fiance, who can do ~5ish mile hikes without much fuss. Any ideas for a Saturday afternoon / Sunday AM filler? I'd be down for a little more strenuous hike if it is to see some "beyond tourist range" stuff, but I am not trying to ruin a marriage pre-emptively.

Side note: other that 6.52, any HAM bands I should monitor for local chatter? Don't have my cert for tx yet (next weekend :fingerscrossed:), but want to start listening in.

So I don't really know where to put this, but it's in Utah soooo

I found this petroglyph kinda of out in the middle of no where, no humans around. Not even off the side of a trail or anything. IMG_0494.jpg

And then I noticed this today, I don't remember if it's been there forever but I think it's crazy how it's the same thing. These things are miles away from each other. Anyone know anything about petroglyphs?

Probably, but the top one was literally probably Atleast a mile from the nearest four wheeler trail and under a ledge. I can't see why anyone would be there or feel the need to draw that on a rock. Or do it a second time.

I don't see why anyone in the past would do it either.
