I was on the computer, shoes off gun on, when I heard screaming outside my window. My house's backyard is walled and backs to a busy street. There's all manner of riffraff that walks by from a trailer park up the road and today was no different.
I look out my window and this punk with a goatee and hat sideways is screaming at his girlfriend as they walk down the sidewalk. So I watch. Then he flicks her in the head, takes her sunglasses roughly off her face and throws them and as she tries to walk away (pushing a newborn baby mind you), he starts kick/stomping the back of her heels!!
    Where's my fucking shoes?!?!?!?
I ran out there and told him that he looks really tough beating up his girlfriend and that the cops were coming (bluff: I should've told my wife to call them but I forgot). Now his anger is focuses on me; screaming that this is none of my business. I told him he was a **** for beating on his girlfriend. He was like 'what did you call me?' I repeated the sentence and then he kind of tried to come at me arms folded like he was going to push me mosh-pit style. I was hardly concerned because I could crush this guy. I out weighed him by ~50lbs. He halfheartedly pushed me but ended up bouncing off of me.
Then he noticed the gun and backed off a bit, still screaming. 'You think you're a badass with that gun?'
I tell him I am what I am; arms out to the side.
His girlfriend was yelling at him the whole time to stop and that she was going to leave him if he didn't. Finally they left with him whining after her as she turned to go home.
Anyway, my adrenaline was pumping and wanted nothing more than to teach this guy a lesson but I held back. I guess I'm getting older.
My wife said that a neighbor's van kept circling around the scene; I like to think he was going to have my back if I needed it, idk.

Glad to see you put a stop to it. Hopefully it didn't get worse when they got to their place. I know it must have been hard to keep from busting his nose.

She said she was going back home to tell her mom. He didn't like that hence the whining after her. It was no doubt one of the hardest things I've done in a while to show restraint.

Haha, I would too if I were 20. ;) I had every right to knock his block off but it was such a pussy move, it was laughable. Not worth taking it there at that point I thought but I did think it was going to happen.

I'm not too worried. I can handle my own and my house is protected with alarms and Pitbulls.

I dumped a guy off a second story balcony once for swinging on his girl. Since then I try to... maintain some composure, because I'm not so sure next time that I'll stop at just stop there. I really can not stand that crap. God help me if I ever see someone beating a child... I'll jump the HULK SMASH stage and go straight to "Umm.. someone wanna help me with the body?"
